Elections

At the close of the nomination period for the by-election of NASA executive board members:

• The candidate for Political Action and Member Education (PAC) Chair is: Fairfax Culpepper
• The candidates for Membership Services Chair are: Scott Evans and Christianne Ussher

As per the Election of Executive Officers Policy passed by NASA members at the 2024 Fall General Meeting, since the position of PAC Chair is uncontested no vote will be required and Fairfax is declared elected by acclamation. She will assume the role of PAC Chair effective immediately.

Since the position of Membership Services Chair is contested, the NASA membership needs to vote in an election. Online voting will open on Wednesday, September 17 at 8:30 am and close on Wednesday, September 24 at noon.
