Nominations are open for NASA Honorary and Lifetime Memberships.
NASA recognizes that former members and external individuals have contributed to the union. The Honorary and Lifetime Membership Awards provide a legacy for NASA to capture stories and accomplishments of its members for the benefit of future members.
Honorary Membership may be granted to individuals who have never been a union member who have distinguished themselves by exceptionally meritorious service to NASA. This is the highest honour NASA can bestow upon an external individual who has made a lasting impact on the advancement of our union.
Lifetime Membership may be granted to former members who have distinguished themselves by exceptionally meritorious service to NASA. This is the highest honour NASA can bestow upon a former member.
Nominations must be received no later than Monday, May 6 at 4:30 pm. The successful individuals will be announced at the NASA Annual General Meeting on June 5.
